Ecological Certificate in Chemical Products

The ecological label is a label that proves that companies protect the nature, are sensitive to nature, and keep the damage they cause to the environment at the lowest level in their products and services. It is understood that the product bearing an environmental label is produced by methods suitable for natural conditions, disappears by itself in a short time after consumption and the packaging on it does not harm the environment.

Chemicals are an important component of our daily lives, but some chemicals can seriously harm our health or the environment. There is an increase in health problems that can be explained in part by the use of chemicals. Man-made chemicals are found in the farthest places in the environment and also in our bodies. Chemicals are everywhere. In the EU, under the leadership of REACH and CLP, we have comprehensive chemicals legislation aimed at providing a high level of protection to human health and the environment. Certain chemicals, such as biocides, pesticides, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics, are subject to their own legislation. In addition, the European Commission addresses the challenges of endocrine disruptors that cause adverse health effects of chemicals that interfere with the hormone system.

The protection of nature is of greater importance than ever before. The ecosystem is in great danger. Many studies have shown that chemicals used in production have a negative impact on health. Children and production workers are the most affected. In this respect, ecological production eliminates health risks. In addition, ecological production conserves soil and water resources. The important thing is to increase the fertility of the soil with natural substances, not using chemicals. Water resources are indispensable for all living things. The use of synthetic chemicals in ecological production is prohibited for the protection of water resources.

Designed by our organization Ekomark © Standardis based on the product groups prepared by the European Union. Within the Eco-Label system, ecological label criteria have been determined for various product and service groups. Among these product groups, there is no group called chemical products directly. However, chemicals are indirectly used in many productions. For example, chemicals are used in products such as general cleaners, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergents, dishwasher detergents and soaps, shampoos and conditioners, which are in the cleaning products group. In addition, the most chemically used product group is textile products. Again in the garden materials product group, growing media and soil improvers are also in the household products group, paints and varnishes are products containing chemicals.

If it is determined that these products are produced within the specified criteria, Ekomark © Tag use is granted. Ekomark © Tag It is proven that the products used do not harm human health when they are produced and consumed in accordance with nature.

In order for companies to open up to foreign markets and to compete with their competitors, they need to turn to more ecological production.

Different information on ecological certification may be required in chemical products. For more information about this and the Ekomark © Tag, you can apply to our company immediately.
