Principles and Principles

Although there is a European Union directive in our country, an environmental law has not been enacted and an ecological label system has not been established. Authorized authorities have been determined in this direction and work has begun, but no progress has been made. In this environment, our organization acted with a sense of responsibility and designed the Ekomark © Standard in a completely original way. Ekomark © Standard, which has become valid nationally and internationally in a short time, has two basic approaches:

  • Nature protection
  • Protection of human health

The world population is increasing rapidly, which increases the need for resources. On the other hand, the ozone layer was thinned, the poles began to melt and climate changes began. As a result of unconscious and irresponsible uses, water resources, underground riches, forests and breathing air started to be exhausted. In addition to all of this, producer companies continue to keep company interests above social interests with the ambition to make money. In these circumstances, future generations will find a globe that has no life at all. This is the greatest injustice to them.

The main objective of our organization is to establish sustainable production concept in both consumers and manufacturers. A number of principles and principles adopted by our organization in achieving this goal are:

  • Independent and impartial: Independent and impartial services are provided to all companies regardless of the geography in which the companies operate, the social or political area in which they share their views, or the sector in which they operate.
  • Being reliable: Companies are given clear, accurate and accurate information in a mutual trust understanding. The services are complete and timely.
  • Providing quality service: Fast and high quality service is provided to the companies based on the authorization obtained from the foreign accreditation institution. If necessary, cooperation with other institutions and authorities is made.
  • To be honest: Not only the companies that are serviced, but all other organizations, including other certification bodies, are treated honestly.
  • Maintaining social benefit: Protecting human health and giving importance to the protection of nature is the main responsibility. In addition to actual activities, social and cultural activities are supported to solve environmental problems.
  • Competing: There are many organizations operating on ecological labels nationally and internationally. This competition is seen as a competition in accordance with the determined criteria. Therefore, in the direction of the development of the environmental label system, acts that create unfair competition are avoided only by considering the common interests.
