Sustainability

Destructed living spaces, global warming and climate changes, environmental pollution, irregular and unplanned housing and unhealthy societies are today's biggest problems. Unfortunately, it is people who create these problems. Distorted urbanization and bad consumption habits create these problems. More than half of the world's population lives in cities. This rate is much higher in developing countries. Unless people change their way of life and habits of consumption, neither the ruthless destruction of nature can be prevented nor healthy generations can be raised.

One reason for today's global environmental problems is the high increase in fossil fuel use following the industrial revolution in western countries. Dependence on existing energy resources has reached an extreme level. The threat posed by the greenhouse effect released into the atmosphere in this century is now well known. Efforts to protect nature and at least to minimize damage to nature are accelerating.

When it comes to sustainability, nature protection comes to mind immediately. The concept of sustainability is based on the protection of the natural environment, but it is not limited to this. The only goal of environmental protection is to protect nature. However, sustainability aims to leave a cleaner world to future generations. The aim is to transfer natural resources to future generations, but not to ignore the needs of today.

Theoretically, sustainability is the long-term reproduction of a system to sustain itself. Sustainability is an approach that needs to be taken together in environmental, economic and social areas. From an ecological point of view, the main thing is the renewal of natural resources.

Everyone has to do their part about sustainability, whether government or private. Our company has developed the Ekomark © Standard for the protection of nature and human health. Products and services that meet the criteria set by the European Union Ekomark © Tag allow use. Significantly serving the awareness of consumers Ekomark © Standardbelieves that the consumption habits of individuals should change and tries to spread this standard. The use of energy-saving light bulbs, abandonment of dishwashing and washing habits, operating the machines when they are full, turning off electronic devices when not in use and contributing to recycling activities are important steps in this sense.
